Project Overview

Norwegian Hull Club, a leading global maritime underwriter, approached Avita to enhance the AV infrastructure in their London office. The project centred around upgrading their townhall area and several smaller meeting rooms to improve collaboration and deliver a seamless Microsoft Teams experience throughout the workspace.

The townhall space was fitted with dual 85-inch displays, ceiling-mounted microphones, integrated speakers, and dual cameras, creating a high-quality all-hands meeting environment. In the smaller meeting rooms, we deployed native Microsoft Teams Room solutions using a combination of Crestron and Logitech technologies to deliver a consistent and intuitive user experience.

Initial Cabling Works (First Fix)

Our engineers carried out structured cabling works while the ceiling and wall voids were accessible, planning each route to minimise disruption and ensure future serviceability. This early-stage infrastructure laid the foundation for clean equipment integration and long-term reliability.

Equipment Installation & Integration (Second Fix)

The second fix was delivered in two stages:

Part 1: New Hardware Deployment
We installed the new townhall AV solution including large-format 85-inch displays, Microsoft Teams-certified ceiling microphones, and dual cameras. The space was designed to support both local presentations and remote participation via Teams, with all hardware calibrated for optimal audio-visual clarity.

Part 2: Teams Room Integration
Smaller meeting rooms were equipped with Crestron touch panels, Logitech Rally kits and Teams-native computing. Each space was programmed and tested to provide one-touch join functionality, reliable content sharing, and uniform performance across all rooms.

Outcome

The upgraded AV environment at Norwegian Hull Club’s London office now supports effective hybrid collaboration across all spaces. From townhall briefings to small team huddles, the solution delivers professional-grade performance and ease of use — aligned with the client’s global communications standards.
