As the MD of Avita Group, I oversee the running of the business. My background includes experience as a motor racing technician and IT technician but I have been at Avita Group for over 20 years. I love the flexibility and diversity of my job and dealing with the technical challenges that arise.
Outside of work I’m passionate about Motor Racing and have enjoyed success, winning multiple UK national championships.
I’ve been a director at Avita since 2016, having started in 1997. I have a Computer Science degree and have gained great industry knowledge, which I’m constantly trying to broaden by keeping on top of new technologies. My customer-facing role includes pre-sales, consultancy, and projects. I particularly enjoy working on clients’ sites and meeting different people. I completed the “Three Peaks Challenge” in 2011 and “Take On The Lakes” in 2016. I play the guitar and 5-a-side football.
I have 30 years’ experience as an Electrician, and 15 years as a Security Technician, installing alarms, door entry and CCTV systems. I ran my own Electrical company before joining forces with Avita Group and becoming part of the team and integrating our services. We are a hardworking team, with many years’ experience and skills between us. We have 2 apprentices who are learning the trade and doing a great job at it too. Client satisfaction is very important to me as well as a high end finish. In my spare time I support Arsenal and enjoy watching Only Fools and Horses (when the wife lets me!).
I’ve been with Avita since 2018 completing administrative tasks such as filing, taking client calls and assisting the Management team. I have a strong administration background with 15 years’ office management experience but have yet to master the perfect cup of coffee! Outside the office I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my family.
I joined the Avita Group with over 15 years’ customer services and management experience within the distribution sector. My background includes recruitment; management of teams; dealing with UK and worldwide customers; and implementing and managing new processes and systems.
It’s true to say I do love a spreadsheet!
Outside of work I have a busy family life and enjoy running a netball team as well as playing and umpiring in the local league.
My early career saw me working for a leading, privately owned, global insurance brokers and was then succeeded by a challenging role managing the office of a new insurance company. Prior to joining the Avita Group, I worked in the Corporate world as a Sales Support Manager for a top 5 Management Consultancy practice. My role at the Avita Group involves managing all administration activities which include HR, Contracts, Finance and supporting the board of Directors. Outside of the Avita Group I enjoy spending time with the family, walking our dog and playing for a local netball team.
I joined Avita in November 2018 as Project Director and Account manager. I have worked in IT for over 40 years starting with BT and then Panasonic office automation before moving into an IT managers role with a large publishing company. I left there to work in a small specialised IT business for 30 years developing new business and manging client projects. I currently carry out pretty much everything from initial enquiry through the sales process and project delivery for a number of major clients.
I joined Avita Group in 2019 in an operational role to help streamline and enhance an already great company. I have been in the customer service industry for over 39 years with different roles from front line support and project work to management. I enjoy family time, F1 and playing tennis.
After over 15 years in IT, including 10 on the Avita helpdesk, I’ve moved in to a more logistical role in 2018. Dealing with constantly changing requirements for the engineers and our clients can certainly be challenging, but that only helps to keep things interesting!
I like to spend my spare time outdoors practising my photography skills and can often by found in meadows and woodland taking pictures of anything that moves.
I joined Avita in 2020 as technical delivery driver.
I’ve been working at Avita since 2016, I’ve had a passion for technology my whole life. My job role is very versatile, which is great as it allows me to be always learning new things. I deal with network installations as well as telephone system configurations. I also handle server maintenance and support. Outside of work, you’ll either find me gaming or down the disco!
I’ve been at Avita since 2013 gaining experience with server installations, network configurations and backup management. Monitoring and maintaining these services has given me the knowledge to work on migration projects where I enjoy seeing a job through to completion. I studied music to Diploma level and have performed at various festivals around Europe – I even had the privilege of sharing the stage with Pulp and Motorhead
I have been working at Avita since November 2019 on the helpdesk. I enjoy my job and in my personal time I enjoy gaming and the odd Chinese!
I’ve been working at Avita since the beginning, overseeing the financial aspects and overseeing the general running of the office. By far my greatest achievement has been building and developing Avita to the successful company it is today. When I’m not busy working hard in the office, I like to play tennis, go on bike rides as well as travelling and sailing.
